We are proud to announce that Carlos will be performing “Dar um Jeito (We Will Find A Way),” with Wyclef and Alexander Pires on July 13, at the closing ceremony of the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Rio de Janeiro. The performance will take place around 1 pm EDT/10 am PDT.

Santana has added three more dates to the Corazón tour! On May 29, Carlos will perform at the Jacobs Pavilion at Nautica in Cleveland, OH followed by shows at the Meijer Garden Amphitheater in Grand Rapids, MI on June 1 and the Red Butte Garden in Salt Lake City, UT on July 29.

In addition, Carlos’ current residency at the House of Blues at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas continues to grow with new shows announced for November and January!

Santana’s May 30 show in Charlottesville, VA has been cancelled due to scheduling conflicts. As result our previously announced presales scheduled for today (Tuesday, April 8) at 10 am EDT have also been cancelled. We apologize in advance for any inconvenience.

We’re looking for a few good fans to volunteer to join the Santana team as an official HBO Latino Volunteer Social Media Ambassador!

Working directly with HBO Latino across their social media channels, these two new volunteer roles will be filled by Santana super-fans with a deep knowledge of social media, particularly Facebook, a strong presence in the Santana fan community and of course a passion for all things Santana!

Those chosen will be needed to start in early April through the release of the highly anticipated HBO Santana documentary, Corazón: Live From Mexico, Live It To Believe It. As thanks for their work, volunteers will receive a special kit including autographed items, an invitation to join HBO Latino at an upcoming Santana event and more!

To apply, start by reading the descriptions below and decide which of the two positions would be best for you. Next, send a short email with the subject line “HBO Latino” to contests@Santana.com telling us why you’d make the perfect Santana Social Media Ambassador. Applications will be accepted until March 28, 2014. Successful applicants will be contacted with further instructions by April 4. Although all applications are very much appreciated, only successful candidates will be contacted.

Ambassador #1: The Collector
This person will collect Santana memorabilia from fans within the community. These items may vary from photos of fans with Santana, ticket stubs, to signed records.

In order to fulfill this task, this ambassador should be well known in the Santana fan community. The Collector must have each participant sign an HBOL copyright release.

Ambassador #2: The Social Media Engager
This person must already have a strong follower-base on multiple social media platforms. The Social Media Engager should have experience developing and sharing significant Santana content.

It is essential for this ambassador to support the work of the social media ambassador team through his or her own social media channels. Furthermore, the Social Media Engager must be ready to start and continue conversations with other fans across the social network.
