Santana Fan Since: I’ve been a fan of Santana since I first heard Abraxas in 1974. The music touched my soul and I have since sought out every Santana album.
Why You Love Santana’s Music: I love Santana’s music as it continues to make the hairs on the back of my neck stand up, especially when I see the band live.
How Many Times You’ve Seen Carlos Live and Where/When: I’ve seen Santana around 10 times, the first time at Knebworth Festival In 1980 and since then, at the Albert Hall, a few times at the Hammersmith Apollo including September 30 1995, Wembley Arena Sunday 28 July 1996, Saturday 27 September 2003, and Saturday May 13 2006, the NEC in Birmingham Friday 20 June 2008, Crystal Palace, and most recently on Friday 1st October 2010 at the 02 in London. A dream would be to see the band in Mexico or my wife’s home country Costa Rica.
